On Monday evening, Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu, joined Kano residents, including Hashimu Dugurawa, the state chairman of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), to break the third-day Ramadan fast. The event also marked the launch of a feeding program aimed at supporting vulnerable groups in the state.
The initiative, unveiled at Al-Furqan Mosque in Kano, is part of Seyi Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Youth Engagement program, which focuses on aiding less privileged individuals, including persons living with disabilities. The feeding program aligns with the broader Renewed Hope Agenda promoted by the Tinubu administration.
During the unveiling, Seyi Tinubu emphasized the importance of community service and social welfare, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan. He reaffirmed his dedication to initiatives that uplift marginalized communities and promote national unity.
Earlier in the day, Seyi Tinubu paid a courtesy visit to prominent Kano businessman Alhaji Aminu Dantata at his residence. He also met with Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf before attending the Iftar gathering at the Amani Event Centre.
The event was attended by several notable figures, including the sons of the APC National Chairman and the Kano State Governor, as well as various government appointees. The occasion highlighted the spirit of unity and compassion during Ramadan, while showcasing efforts to address the needs of the less privileged in society.
