MTN Nigeria, the telecommunications company, has begun implementing additional data price hikes, affecting long-term users.
Key Price Changes:
- 1.5TB Plan: Now priced at ₦240,000, up from the previous ₦150,000.
- 100GB (60 Days): Previously priced at ₦20,000, now increased to ₦25,000 but reduced to 90GB (60 Days).
- 600GB (60 Days): Previously priced at ₦75,000, now increased to ₦120,000 but reduced to 480GB (90 Days).
This price increase reflects MTN's rising service costs, along with a reduction in the amount of data offered in some plans. The reasons for this may stem from rising operational costs, inflation, or changes in the telecommunications sector.
MTN users may need to reassess their data usage or explore alternative ways to reduce their expenses on MTN's plans.
