Nigerian Police Eliminate Robbery Kingpin Burakita, Arrest 92 Suspected Criminals in Kano |
The Kano State Police Command has announced that its operatives have killed Abba Bala Burakita, an armed robbery kingpin who had been on the Command's wanted list.
In addition, the command has arrested 92 suspects, including notorious kidnappers, armed robbers, drug dealers, and vehicle and motorcycle thieves.
Announcing this on X, the command stated that dangerous weapons, intoxicating substances, and stolen items were recovered from the suspects.
“Over the past three weeks, from August 12th to September 2nd, 2024, the Kano State Police Command has achieved significant successes, resulting in the arrest of a total of ninety-two (92) suspects, including notorious kidnappers, armed robbers, drug dealers, motor vehicle thieves, motorcycle thieves, fraudsters, and the elimination of armed robbery kingpin Abba Bala Burakita, who had been on the Command's wanted list."
“Additionally, dangerous weapons, intoxicating substances, and stolen items were recovered,” the command noted.
