Nigerian Actor Yusuf Olorungbede Passes Away After Long Illness

Yusuf Olorungbede, a well-known Yoruba Nollywood actor, has sadly passed away after battling a prolonged illness.

His death was confirmed by colleagues in the film industry.

Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola shared the heartbreaking news on her Instagram page, stating, “We lost Yusuf Olorungbede… We submit to God’s Will. Thank you, everyone!”

In a tribute on Facebook, actor Oladimeji Peter expressed his sorrow: “It is sad to hear you are gone. As an actor, you gave me courage. You were the first director to invite me to a movie location and pay me, covering my feeding and accommodation without stress. How will I write my stories in this industry and not mention your name, EGBON? Ko possible. Through you, I met many people and learned so much. Good night, Boss man 😓 Yusuf Olorungbede.”
