Hamster Kombat Updates Roadmap, Reveals Community Distribution in New Whitepaper
Hamster Kombat, a tap-to-earn game boasting over 300 million players, has published a new whitepaper and an updated project roadmap. The game, where players assume the role of a hamster CEO of a cryptocurrency exchange, announced the conclusion of its first season and hinted at soon revealing the tokenomics for the second season.
Regarding the updated distribution figures, Hamster Kombat stated that due to the significant impact of players' actions on the game's popularity, it has decided to increase the number of tokens allocated for community distribution. The project declared:
The community was also updated on the status of the upcoming airdrop, which currently has no set date for execution. The project described it as a “technically complex undertaking, unprecedented in the blockchain world.” It emphasized, “We’re not setting specific dates because it’s impossible to predict the exact timeline for implementing this solution.” Despite this, the token is already trading on exchanges that offer pre-issuance markets.
Hamster Kombat also mentioned that it is collaborating with the TON ecosystem to ensure a “smooth and seamless airdrop for all users.”
Several governments have criticized Hamster Kombat for its impact on the population. Anatoly Aksakov, head of the Russian State Duma’s Financial Market Committee, called for the game's termination due to its manipulative effects on Russian citizens.
Conversely, Telegram CEO Pavel Durov praised the project, stating it would bring “the benefits of blockchain to hundreds of millions of people.”
