From Insulting Messi to Trolling Chelsea: Mbappe’s X Account Hacked
Kylian Mbappe

Early Thursday, the X (formerly Twitter) account of French football star Kylian Mbappe was hacked, leading to a series of controversial tweets.

The hacked tweets, which have since been deleted, caused quite a stir on the platform. Among the posts, Mbappe teased a potential transfer to Manchester United and weighed in on the long-standing Cristiano Ronaldo-Lionel Messi rivalry.

An X user, Janty, who tweets as #CFC_Janty, disclosed the incident.

One of the tweets praised a Manchester United fan, #UTDTrey, as having the “best account on ft,” and hinted at Mbappe joining Manchester United in 2028.

In another tweet, Mbappe responded to a claim that he supports Chelsea by saying, “Chelsea are washed, g.”

The Real Madrid striker, who recently transferred from Paris Saint-Germain, also took a jab at Lionel Messi, the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner, with whom he competed in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Mbappe posted, “Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest football player of all time. This midget is not my goat,” accompanied by a photo of Messi crying during a match against Colombia.

The hacker didn't stop there, posting inflammatory statements such as “F*** Israel,” “Free Palestine,” “Manchester is red,” and “The Jews own football.”

Reactions from X users were swift. One user, #haiwe_xtm, wrote, “Seriously hacked account. There’s no way that’s Mbappe bro.” Another, #GucciStarboi, said, “Stop misleading people. Mbappe was clearly hacked.”

User #Big_5ve tweeted, “People with knowledge literally know Mbappe will never tweet something like this.” Meanwhile, #fana__0 commented, “Whoever has hacked Kylian Mbappe should be crowned king of the world.”

User #UTDLenz noted, “So the hacker is basically a Man United and Ronaldo fan, pro-Palestine and doesn’t give a d*** about London. I think I’ve liked him even more. ‘The Jews own football’ I think I need more context about that.”

Another user, #RackiRMA, questioned, “This is getting out of hand. What is his media team doing?”

Finally, #keyyrun0 wrote, “Loool. I’ve been having a laugh watching this in real time. Surprised Mbappe doesn’t have someone around the clock for stuff like this. Poor guy is probably sound asleep right now not knowing what’s going on.”

Mbappe began his Real Madrid career by scoring in a 2-0 victory over Atlanta in the UEFA Super Cup. However, he has yet to score in La Liga, with a 1-1 draw against Mallorca and a 3-0 win over Valladolid.
