Issa Hayatou, the former President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), has passed away.
Hayatou led CAF for an impressive 29 years, from 1988 to 2017.
He died on Thursday at the age of 77.
Hayatou also served as the acting President of the world’s football governing body, FIFA, during his career.
