EPL: Yorke Advises Man Utd on Ten Hag's Replacement

Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke has urged his former club to part ways with Erik ten Hag and appoint an “elite” manager like Zinedine Zidane or Carlo Ancelotti to lead the Red Devils.

Yorke believes that Manchester United will continue to struggle under Ten Hag's leadership.

While acknowledging that Ten Hag is a good manager, Yorke emphasized the need for a head coach with a proven track record.

“Erik ten Hag is a good manager, but there is a difference between being a good manager and being an elite manager. United need a manager with pedigree,” Yorke said in an interview with Lord Ping (via Daily Mail).

“Until United get that manager in, they will struggle. Zidane is an elite manager who can attract the biggest players in the world and get everyone back onside.

“The word elite is rare. Carlo Ancelotti is one of them. United need an elite manager to take the club forward and regain momentum. Until United do that, it is going to be a dogfight.”
