Ali Ahmed, the Commissioner for Finance in Borno State, has passed away.
Details surrounding his death remain unclear, but sources familiar with the incident reported that the commissioner was found dead in his room on Monday morning.
It was noted that Ahmed had not emerged from his room at his usual time, prompting concerns. When his door was forced open, his lifeless body was discovered.
“Oga is no more; he died early this morning,” a source told Daily Trust.
The Borno State Government has announced the death of Ahmed Ali Ahmed, the State Commissioner of Finance.
A statement from the Commissioner of Information and Internal Security, Professor Usman Tar, in Maiduguri, indicated that the burial is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. today at the family house of the late commissioner on Damboa Road, behind Indimi’s residence.
