Real Madrid have initiated contact with Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold regarding a potential transfer this summer.
Alexander-Arnold, whose contract with Liverpool runs until 2025, could leave the club for free next year if no extension is agreed upon. The 25-year-old has yet to finalize a new deal with the Reds.
According to BILD reporter Christian Falk, Real Madrid are closely monitoring Alexander-Arnold’s situation and have shown a strong interest in acquiring the player. The report also indicates that the versatile full-back is keen on a move to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
In other transfer news, Chelsea have announced the signing of French midfielder Oriane Jean-Francois from Paris Saint-Germain for their Women’s team. The 22-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Blues, which includes an option for an additional year.
Jean-Francois is known for her dynamism and versatility, capable of playing both as a central midfielder and in a box-to-box role.
