Mason Greenwood |
Manchester United have reached an agreement in principle to sell Mason Greenwood to Marseille, as reported by Mail Sport.
The initial transfer fee is believed to be £27 million, with an additional £3.2 million in potential add-ons.
The slight delay in the process was due to Greenwood needing to approve the transfer.
There is now a verbal agreement between Greenwood and both clubs regarding the proposed transfer, although the deal has not yet been finalized.
Greenwood will travel to France to undergo a medical and complete the necessary paperwork.
The move to Marseille will see the 22-year-old play under Roberto De Zerbi, who was appointed by the Ligue 1 club in June.
