Transfer: Ikwuemesi Set to Join Belgian Club, Leuven

Chibukwuikem Ikwuemesi,

Nigerian forward, Chibukwuikem Ikwuemesi, is on the verge of finalizing a transfer to Belgian club, Oud Heverlee Leuven.

Leuven is set to pay €1.8 million to Serie B team, Salernitana, for the player.

Ikwuemesi is scheduled to undergo his medical examination today (Monday) before the move.

The 21-year-old will sign a three-year contract with Leuven.

The former Flying Eagles star joined Salernitana from Slovenian PrvaLiga club, Celje, in August 2023.

During his time with the Garnets, he scored one goal in 25 league appearances.
