Arsenal have reached an agreement with Real Sociedad midfielder Mikel Merino.
According to Football Transfers, the Premier League club from North London and Merino have agreed on personal terms for his move to England.
The Gunners initiated discussions with Merino’s representatives following Euro 2024.
However, Arsenal have not yet engaged in talks with Real Sociedad, and no official bid has been made for the player at this time.
Arsenal are eager to strengthen manager Mikel Arteta’s squad this summer in preparation for the 2024–25 season.
Last season, the Gunners finished second in the Premier League, just behind champions Manchester City.
