Tinubu Swears in Eight New Permanent Secretaries |
President Bola Tinubu has inaugurated a new group of Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service.
The swearing-in ceremony took place just before the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting, which he is currently chairing.
The President emphasized that the appointments were necessary to address existing and upcoming vacancies in various states and geo-political zones within the top administrative ranks of the Civil Service of the Federation.
It is worth noting that the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation conducted a thorough selection process for these new Permanent Secretaries. This process included a written examination, an ICT proficiency test, and an interactive session with a wide range of stakeholders.
Following this rigorous process, eight directors in the Federal Civil Service were appointed as Permanent Secretaries.
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are: Emanso Okop Umobong (Akwa Ibom), Emeka Vitalis Obi (Anambra), Fatima Sugra Tabi’a Mahmood (Bauchi), Mohammed Sanusi Danjuma (Jigawa), Olubunmi Olusanya (Ondo), Maryam Ismaila Keshinro (Zamfara), Chinyere Ijeoma Akujobi (South East Zone), and Christopher Osaruwanmwen Isokpunwu (South South Zone).
