Olamide Turned Down N100 Million for a Verse – Tiwa Savage

Popular singer Tiwa Savage revealed that Olamide declined an offer of N100 million for a verse on her song.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Tiwa explained that Olamide, the founder of YBNL record label, turned down the payment after his management had billed her.

She mentioned that Olamide refused to charge her because he understands the challenges female artists face in the music industry.

Reflecting on their close bond, Tiwa expressed her gratitude to the rapper for his supportive and generous nature.

“I was negotiating with his management because I knew he would want to do it for free if I asked him directly. I was ready to pay, and his team quoted N100 million. But when Olamide found out who the artist was, he refused the payment.

“He said I’m like a sister to him and he knows how tough it is for women in the industry. And guess what? He did the verse for free. Good people exist, and Baddo is one of them,” she shared.
