Obaseki Dismisses Health Commissioner

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has announced the immediate removal of Dr. Samuel Alli from his position as Commissioner for Health.

In a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie, Governor Obaseki instructed Dr. Alli to hand over all official documents and resources to the most senior officer in the Ministry of Health.

This decision, according to the statement, is part of Governor Obaseki’s efforts to ensure optimal service delivery in the final four months of his administration.

Governor Obaseki thanked Dr. Alli for his service and wished him well in his future endeavors.
