Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, announced that his administration has distributed over N275 million to victims of the Tudun Biri military drone attack, donated by public and private individuals. He urged those who made pledges to redeem them, acknowledging President Bola Tinubu's commitment to supporting the affected community.
Speaking at the Resettlement Scheme for Persons Impacted by Conflicts (RSPIC) groundbreaking ceremony in Tudun Biri, Governor Sani expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for selecting the location. He highlighted that the project, managed by NEMA, will build four resettlement communities in Igabi, Ikara, Giwa, and Kauru LGAs, providing houses, hospitals, and schools for internally displaced persons affected by banditry.
The Vice President, Kashim Shatima, attended the ceremony and joined Muslim faithful for Juma'at prayer alongside top government officials, including Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi. Governor Sani appreciated the support, emphasizing the importance of decent accommodation and infrastructure for human dignity.
