Islamic Year: Jigawa State Government Declares Monday a Work-Free Day

The Jigawa State Government has announced that Monday, July 8, 2024, will be a work-free day to celebrate the new Islamic Year 1446AH.


This announcement was made in a statement signed by the state head of civil service, Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri, and issued to DAILY POST by his spokesperson, Ismael Muhammad.


Workers and residents of the state are encouraged to pray for continued peace and prosperity. The state government also urged them to reflect on and live according to the teachings of Islam and the practices of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).


The statement further advised the people to remain law-abiding and avoid actions that could disrupt peace.
