Euro 2024: Three Spain Players Suspended for Semi-final |
Three Spanish players will be unavailable for their Euro 2024 semi-final match.
La Roja advanced to the semi-finals after a 2-1 victory over Germany in the quarter-finals.
However, the win came at a cost. Pedri sustained a knee injury in the first half and will miss the rest of the tournament.
Additionally, three of his teammates received cards that will sideline them for the semi-final against either Portugal or France.
Dani Carvajal was sent off after receiving two yellow cards (he was already suspended with one yellow).
Defender Robin Le Normand was suspended for accumulating too many yellow cards.
Alvaro Morata was also booked for celebrating the winning goal, which breached the yellow card limit.
