Euro 2024: Cristiano Ronaldo Anticipates Tough Quarter-Final Clash with France |
Portugal's captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, has predicted a challenging encounter with France in their Euro 2024 quarter-final match.
After defeating Slovenia in the round of 16, Ronaldo and his teammates are set to face Kylian Mbappe's France in the next stage of the tournament.
The quarter-final match will take place at Volksparkstadion in Hamburg on Friday.
“We’re going to have a tough game now against France, which is one of the favorites to win,” Ronaldo said during his post-match press conference on Monday.
“But we go to battle, the team is in good shape, and I will always give my best for this jersey.”
Portugal previously won the European Championship in 2016 with Ronaldo as their captain.
