| Dawanau Market Praises KEDCO for Network Expansion |
The chairman of the Dawanau Market Development Association, Alhaji Muttaqa Isa, has commended the Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) for initiating a multimillion-naira network expansion project aimed at improving power supply in the market and surrounding areas.
Isa expressed his appreciation during a visit to KEDCO's head office in Kano.
In a statement from Sani Bala, head of corporate communications, Isa highlighted that the completion of this project would significantly enhance market operations and stimulate economic growth in the state.
“We are thankful to KEDCO for deploying engineers to the site and starting the project. We are confident that this initiative will resolve our long-standing power issues, ensuring smoother operations for our members,” Isa said.
He added, “We believe that KEDCO is now better positioned to achieve excellence with its team of experienced and visionary leaders on the board and management.”
