Nigerian afrobeats sensation, Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, has made history as the first African artist to achieve two billion streams in the United Kingdom.

The singer was honored with a Brit plaque during his sold-out performance at Koko Camden in London on Monday night, celebrating this remarkable milestone.

This achievement comes just weeks after he received a Brit plaque for one billion streams at his sold-out show at the London Stadium last month.

Upon receiving his Brit 2 billion streams plaque, Burna Boy expressed his gratitude and determination.

“Thank you very much. I appreciate you. Ehen, now that’s it. You’ve to fight for your right,” he said.

One of the presenters remarked, “You already have it. You don’t need to fight.”

Burna Boy responded, “No. You know, we have to fight for our rights.”
