Bandits Abduct 150 Locals in Zamfara Community 

Over the weekend, bandits kidnapped approximately 150 locals, including newborn babies, from Dan Isa community in Kauran Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

In addition, more than 30 individuals were abducted by hoodlums in Maradun Local Government Area of the state.

According to BBC Hausa, the incident has led to the desertion of the community.

A survivor recounted that the bandits invaded the community, killed three residents, and rustled all the cows and other animals.

When contacted, the spokesperson of the Zamfara State Police Command, Mr. Yazid Abubakar, stated that they had not yet received information about the kidnapping incident.
