Afrobeats sensation Wizkid has caused a stir with a cryptic message posted just before the wedding of his fellow artist, Davido, to his fiancée, Chioma Rowland.
The DAILY POST has reported that Davido recently confirmed that his wedding to Chioma is set for June 25, in Lagos, despite recent rumors of infidelity.
On Sunday night, the DWW chief shared pre-wedding images with Chioma on social media.
Wizkid, his music industry peer, sent social media into a buzz after tweeting "Lol [laugh out loud]" shortly after Davido's pre-wedding photos went public.
The following Monday morning, Wizkid seemed to throw a subtle jab at his counterpart, as interpreted by some fans.
On his X account, Wizkid posted: “Offering a prayer for every understanding woman on the planet! Your king cherishes you.”
The post sparked diverse reactions, with several people suggesting that he was indirectly referring to Davido’s fiancée, Chioma, known for her patience with the singer amidst rumors of infidelity.
Sophia Momodu, the mother of Davido's first child, recently revealed that she and the singer had rekindled their relationship from 2020 to 2022, overlapping with the time Davido was engaged to Chioma.
