Nollywood star and recent bride, Sharon Ooja Egwurube, has recounted her heartwarming love story with her spouse, Ugo Nwoke.
As reported by DAILY POST, Sharon and Ugo celebrated their traditional wedding in Abuja this Thursday.
In an interview with BellaNaija during her nuptials, the actress disclosed that she encountered her future husband following a significant heartbreak.
She narrated how her sister introduced her to Mr. Nwoke. Initially hesitant, Sharon eventually warmed up to his advances due to his persistence.
"My love tale feels like a miracle," she expressed. "I had just gotten over a major heartbreak. While I was on set, my sister insisted that her friend wanted to talk to me. I wasn't interested and declined to engage.
"Nevertheless, she passed on my number to him, and he turned out to be quite intelligent. Our initial conversations were brief. Time went by, and he consistently made efforts to contact me, showing persistence.
"One particular conversation lasted three hours, and that's when I felt a connection. After a trip, I noticed he hadn't called for two days, which led me to confront him. His response made me realize I was ready to leave the single life behind.
"From there, everything fell into place. We dated for two and a half months before getting engaged in the third month, followed by our wedding two months later."
