The Nigeria Football Federation's Refereeing Development Unit has issued a suspension to the central referee, Haruna Abdullahi, barring him from officiating future Nigeria Premier Football League matches.
Abdullahi officiated the matchday 34 game between Doma United and Lobi Stars at Pantami Stadium, Gombe, which took place on Saturday.
The match concluded with Doma United securing a 1-0 victory, the sole goal being scored from an offside position.
Following a formal complaint lodged by Lobi Stars with the NPFL, the decision was made to suspend the referee.
The Jigawa Football Federation has been notified of the official's suspension.
