Renowned music artist, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, married his beloved Chioma Rowland on Tuesday.
The ceremony followed over a year after the couple's traditional engagement.
The Lagos celebration saw a turnout of the who's who in entertainment, including football star Victor Osimhen; entrepreneur Obi Cubana; musical duo P Square; singer Asake; media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchenndu, comedian Craze Clown; musician Paul Okoye; artist Patoranking, and more.
During the traditional wedding rituals, Davido vowed to cherish, honor, and stay devoted to Chioma.
A heartfelt scene was recorded when Davido bowed deeply to his in-laws.
The master of ceremonies prompted him to formally request their daughter's hand in marriage, following customary practices.
"Please share with us your commitment to her care, as you've expressed in song and speech," she prompted.
While prostrate, Davido declared his commitment to Chioma, stating, "My promise is simple—lifetime assurance."
His words sparked an outpouring of applause from the attendees.
Davido continued, "I assure you, your daughter will be cherished, honored, and connected. To the parents, I express my love. This day is a joyous one for me, the happiest of my life."
Social media was already lively with anticipation following the release of the couple's pre-wedding pictures two days earlier.
The nuptials are anticipated to be among the year's most memorable events.
