NDA Schedules Range Exercise in Kaduna, Advises Communities to Steer Clear |
The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has scheduled a range classification exercise for cadets of Direct Short Service Course 28 (Army) and Direct Short Service Course 32 (Air Force) from June 25 to 28.
The academy's spokesperson, Maj Mohammed Maidawa, made this known in a statement on Monday in Kaduna.
Maidawa called on the public, especially the residents of Mando, Tsamiya, Kauya, and Afaka, to keep clear of the vicinity.
He noted that the exercise would take place at the NDA Open Range in Afaka.
"The NDA wants to reassure the general public that it has implemented all necessary safety protocols to ensure the exercise is carried out successfully," Maidawa stated.
Nevertheless, he urged the public to refrain from entering the general area during the exercise period.
