Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has inaugurated eight new permanent secretaries, urging them to uphold integrity and impartiality in their service to the state. The induction ceremony was held at the Banquet Hall of the Government House in Yola this Monday.


With his deputy, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, representing him, Governor Fintiri stressed the necessity for equitable service provision.


"Being appointed is a summons to greater responsibility; your sworn oath of office and allegiance calls for even-handedness to everyone," he declared.


The newly appointed permanent secretaries vowed to perform to the best of their abilities. Speaking for the group, Mrs. Melody Pwambodi Herman committed to their dedication and fidelity to the current government.


The appointed permanent secretaries include Ladi Baba Hamza, Emmanuel Iliya Tapasha, Mohammed Tukur, Hassan Maude Modibo, Syndana Dada, Mercy Ornan Dauda, Mohammed Awwal Ibrahim, and Mrs. Melody Pwambodi Herman.


State Attorney-General Isuwa Misali conducted the oath-taking ceremony for office and allegiance.
