Davido Shares His Father's Vision of Him as a Gospel Singer |
Afrobeats icon, David Adeleke, known as Davido, has shared a prophetic insight from his father, Deji Adeleke, regarding his career path.
The famed 'OBO' artist mentioned that his father envisioned him concluding his musical journey as a gospel artist.
This revelation came about during a conversation with guests at his wedding on Tuesday.
"Dad would start the day by saying, 'Davido, I had a vision concerning you.' When I asked, 'What vision?' he replied, 'I saw that you wrapped up your music career as a gospel singer'," Davido recounted.
DAILY POST notes that Davido's nuptials at the Eko Hotel and Suites were a star-studded affair, drawing notable figures such as his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, alongside Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Alex Otti, governors of Lagos and Abia states, respectively.
The event was graced by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, ex-governor of Akwa Ibom State Udom Emmanuel, and the Ooni of Ife, HRH Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.
The guest list also included celebrities like Don Jazzy, Ini Edo, PSquare, Zlatan Ibile, Patoranking, Obi Cubana, Seyi Tinubu, Jay Jay Okocha, Victor Osimhen, Pocolee, and the event's host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
