Canadian songstress Celine Dion has declared that her struggle with Stiff Person Syndrome will not prevent her from returning to the stage.

In a conversation with Hoda Kotb on the Today Show, the 56-year-old icon pledged to make a comeback to live performances, even if it means she has to crawl onto the stage and use her hands to communicate.

"I am determined to return to the stage, and I'll do it even if I must crawl. Even if my voice fails and I have to use my hands to speak, I'll make it happen," she affirmed.

Dion disclosed that she has been privately dealing with Stiff Person Syndrome for 17 years before going public with her condition.

The renowned vocalist, who opened up about her diagnosis in 2022, admitted that she's been contending with symptoms since 2008.

She recently described her condition as feeling akin to being "strangled."

Moreover, Dion mentioned that she frequently endures cramps and has sustained broken ribs due to her illness.
