Ballon d'Or 2024: Gary Neville Predicts Top Contenders

Gary Neville, the ex-skipper of Manchester United, has pinpointed three athletes he believes will vie for the Ballon d'Or award this year.

In his publication, The Overlap newsletter, Neville highlighted Jude Bellingham, Harry Kane, and Phil Foden.

These English footballers were all honored in the UEFA Champions League Team of the Season, which was announced on Monday.

Neville contends that France is the only nation that can match England's level of offensive prowess.

His words: "The UEFA team of the season, unveiled on Monday, consists of the finest talents from the 2023-24 Champions League, including Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden, and Harry Kane.

"Each of them is a potential Ballon d'Or nominee for the year's end. At present, only France, with stars like Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann, can parallel England's attacking capabilities."
