Arsenal has announced that their goalkeeper, Karl Hein, has agreed to a new deal with the club.

The Gunners revealed the news through a statement on their website on Monday evening.

"It gives us great pleasure to announce that Karl Hein has renewed his contract with the club," read a portion of Arsenal's announcement.

Hein transferred to Arsenal in 2018 from Nõmme United, having made his first senior appearance at 16 years of age.

The Estonian international initially joined Arsenal as a scholar before turning professional in the subsequent year.

Hein was included in Arsenal's senior squad for the first time during a Europa League match.

Additionally, he was loaned out to Reading, a Championship team, for the latter half of the 2021/22 season.

"I am thrilled to be signing a new contract and to continue my journey with this incredible club, where I've been for six years," expressed Hein following his contract renewal.
