In a recent Billboard interview, Ayra Starr revealed her conversation with Rihanna during their encounter at the Authentic Woman event in the UK.
The 'Rush' singer shared: "After the event, Rihanna and I spent some time together. It was incredible to spend time with my role model, the one who motivated me to pursue all this. She offered numerous tips and guidance.
"I'm fond of my voice, though I'm aware it's quite deep, like, 'Is that a guy?! Is that a boy?!' Rihanna encouraged me, saying, 'Your voice has the power to dominate both the male and female sides of the industry. You're meant to conquer both realms.'
I questioned, 'Really?' and she affirmed, 'Absolutely! Absolutely!' I expressed my heartfelt gratitude, and she said, 'That's your unique strength.' It had never occurred to me that way. Her words brought clarity to everything for me."
