In a recent viral interview, Senegalese-American musician Akon made his choice between Nigeria's top Afrobeats stars, Wizkid and Davido, favoring the latter.
When posed with the question by content creator Issraissry, Akon opted for Davido.
"Speaking about Davido often lands me in hot water. But I'll choose Davido. He's the consummate performer," he commented.
Akon has worked with both Wizkid and Davido in the past.
He has also disclosed attempts to bring the pair under his label, Konvict Music, in the past.
