Grammy-awarded Nigerian artist, Damini Ogulu, known as Burna Boy, has shared his reasons for not being prepared for fatherhood.
The 32-year-old artist stated that he is not ready for children because he feels unable to provide the necessary attention they need.
Burna Boy made this revelation while engaging with a fan's question during a recent Instagram live session.
He intends to wait to have children until he is more settled or married.
He elaborated, “The reason I don't have kids yet? Bro, it's because I'm not looking to have kids right now.
“Have you observed how my mum loves me? Or the way my dad cares for me? I'm aware that I can't offer that level of attention to anyone at the moment with the lifestyle I lead. So, until I'm in a position to be there for my kids daily, I won't be having any.
“I believe my children deserve even better than what I received. And I was fortunate to have both my mum and dad, so you get it, right?”
Regarding rumors of his impotence, Burna Boy stated, “When I notice the jokes and comments people make [about my supposed inability to have children], I think it's irrelevant. Even if it were true that I couldn't have kids, are you aware of something called IVF? But, of course, that's not the case.”
