Tuchel confirms his departure as Bayern Munich's manager |
Thomas Tuchel has announced his exit from Bayern Munich at this season's end.
Previously in February, it was declared that the German would exit during the summer.
Lately, there was talk that Bayern and Tuchel might consider extending his tenure.
Nonetheless, on Friday, Tuchel affirmed that the upcoming match at Hoffenheim would be his last.
“This is my final press conference at Säbener Strasse [Bayern’s training grounds],” Tuchel stated.
“The initial agreement from February stands. Despite further talks, we couldn't reach a consensus on continued collaboration. Hence, the original agreement is upheld.”
