Dr. Usman Bugaje, a former presidential aide, has expressed that the Tinubu administration is struggling and has called for the government to seek assistance from Nigerian experts.
Bugaje made these remarks while evaluating the Tinubu administration during an interview on Channels TV's Politics Today.
He noted the widespread frustration in the nation due to inflation, which has left many citizens in a state of desperation.
Bugaje remarked, "Within this first year, it's evident they are groping in the dark, and now is the moment to acknowledge that and to reach out for help from knowledgeable individuals.
Nigeria is replete with individuals possessing the necessary experience and skills. They might not belong to your political party or be involved in politics at all. This is how they can extricate themselves from the predicament they've found themselves in.

"In academic circles, there are established metrics for assessment. Every administration should establish a baseline. After one year, they should be able to scientifically demonstrate, for instance, the agricultural output for 2023 compared to the previous year. In terms of security, these are the improvements in figures.
Just this morning, I learned that bandits abducted 20 individuals in Gwarimpa, within an estate. If even Abuja, with its concentration of governance, cannot guarantee safety, it sends a jarring message to the residents of Abuja. My point is, we ought to be even more concerned about the situation in Abuja."
