Tinubu also offered prayers for the Almighty to bestow peace upon the soul of the departed and provide solace to his bereaved family.
President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences along with fellow Nigerians on the passing of Mr Ibrahim Lamorde, the ex-chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), who died at 61.
In a statement released by Tinubu’s media aide, Ajuri Ngelale, on Sunday, it was highlighted that the former Deputy Inspector-General of Police served as the first Director of Operations and was the third substantive Chairman of the EFCC from 2012 to 2015.
The President also extended his sympathies to the colleagues of the late anti-corruption leader, the EFCC, the Nigeria Police Force, and the government and citizens of Adamawa State.
