TEDA School Honors 19 Students for Outstanding 2024 JAMB Results |
• Students achieved scores ranging from 250 to 345.
• Grandville Chukwure, with a score of 345, represented Nigeria at the 2023 Chemistry Olympiad in Switzerland.
• TEDA School was recognized as the best in Nigeria in the 2020 WASC.
Nineteen students of TEDA School, located in the rural area of Eke-Owerri, Obingwa Local Government, Abia State, scored between 250 and 345 in the 2024 JAMB examination, reinforcing the school's esteemed status in Nigeria's educational sector.
TEDA's history of academic distinction is well-documented. In 2023, the school was Nigeria's delegate at the 55th International Chemistry Olympiad in Switzerland, with Grandville Chukure, who scored 345 in the 2024 JAMB, representing both TEDA and the nation.
Additionally, TEDA's students were Abia State's exclusive representatives in the final rounds of the International Olympiad in Senior Chemistry and Mathematics.
TEDA's students also secured the first, second, and fourth positions, making it the top junior secondary school in Science for 2022/2023. This achievement follows their performance in 2020/2021 when TEDA was named the Best School in Junior Science, with placements in the first, second, fourth, fifth, eighth, and ninth positions in the competition, and a student being awarded Best Boy in Junior Chemistry.
The Abia State Ministry of Education has recognized TEDA as the Best Government-approved Private Junior Secondary School and the second-best Government-approved Senior Secondary School for the 2021/22 academic year.
Dr. Godson Dinneya, the proprietor of TEDA, commended the students and their instructors for their remarkable JAMB results. He reiterated the school's commitment to providing a conducive environment for sustained academic excellence.
The school's recent enhancements include a new 1000-seat Auditorium designed for artistic performances, state-of-the-art laboratories for all science and technical disciplines, and fully-equipped workshops for mechanical, electrical/electronics, and carpentry.
Dinneya stated, "Our vision has always been to offer a comprehensive and holistic education. We are dedicated to providing a complete educational experience that nurtures the entire individual. Our students' diligence in academics and extracurricular activities plants seeds of success that flourish in external exams and equip them for their future endeavors."
