In a recent assault by unidentified gunmen, approximately six individuals were killed and eight were injured in the Ambe community within the Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Daniel Amos, a National Assembly member representing the Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency, issued a statement revealing that the attack occurred early Monday morning as the assailants entered the community, firing indiscriminately.

Expressing his grief, Amos stated, "The peaceful Ambe community in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State was rocked by a late-night attack. The violent assault by alleged bandits resulted in six deaths and injuries to eight people, who are now undergoing medical treatment."

He denounced the attack as an effort to disrupt the peace and security of his constituency and the state. "It's intolerable for our citizens to live in fear of such criminal attacks," he declared.

Amos urged the Sanga local government area residents to stay calm and assured them that measures are being taken to address the security issues.

He stressed the importance of maintaining peaceful coexistence within the community, regardless of differences.

Furthermore, he appealed to security forces to quickly capture and prosecute those responsible, emphasizing that the safety of the populace is paramount and criminal impunity cannot be tolerated.

Amos conveyed his deepest sympathies to the bereaved families, the Arak chiefdom, the Sanga Local Government, and the entire state of Kaduna, hoping for a swift recovery for the injured.

Attempts to contact Mansir Hassan, the spokesperson for the Kaduna State Police Command, were unsuccessful at the time this report was compiled.
