Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed, “It's an honor to host them (Prince Harry and Meghan Markle) here at the Lagos House in Marina. We're thrilled about their initiatives and future plans, especially in collaboration with the office of the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa, and his wife, Mrs. Lilian Musa.

"Prince Harry's visit has been enlightening and enjoyable. He's witnessed much of our nation. We hope he takes with him an appreciation for our country's vast diversity, our commitment to unity and peace, and the significant role Lagos contributes to this narrative.”

During their stay, the couple visited Kano State, the Federal Capital Territory, and now Lagos. “They've surely gained a unique perspective of Nigeria. We've warmly invited them to return whenever they wish,” added Governor Sanwo-Olu.

He also commended the couple for their dedication to mental health, stating, “Mental health concerns are prevalent. We discussed the issues of denial and stigma. More crucially, we pondered when Nigeria might host the Invictus Games, which Prince Harry champions, to showcase the spirited competitiveness of Nigerians.”
