Following his recent accolade as Footballer of the Year by the English Football Writers’ Association, the 23-year-old English midfielder has now achieved a notable awards double.

With a personal record of 17 goals in the Premier League this season and one final match at home against Westham, Foden has made significant contributions to City's success.

On social media, #PhilFoden expressed, “What an incredible week! Deeply grateful for these distinguished awards! My heartfelt thanks to all who supported me, including the City team and coaches, my family, and certainly, my teammates.

“I'm thrilled with my performance this season, which owes much to the support system around me.”

Foden stated, “Securing this award is a milestone I hold in high regard.”

“The Premier League, renowned as the top league globally, has seen me nominated among numerous other exceptional players who have also had remarkable seasons with their respective clubs.”

A victory at home against West Ham on Sunday would mean Manchester City clinching an unprecedented fourth consecutive English championship.

Foden further remarked, “I'm quite content with my performance this season and glad to have made impactful contributions with goals and assists.”

“I extend my gratitude to the entire City team, the coaching staff, and particularly my teammates, as this achievement wouldn't be feasible without them. I also want to thank everyone who voted for me; this honor means a great deal.”

The EPL celebrated Foden's achievement by sharing images of the footballer, acknowledging his accomplishment.
