Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, has pinpointed Jude Bellingham’s goal against Barcelona as the pivotal moment for the LaLiga title holders.
His remarks came after Real Madrid’s 3-0 victory over Cadiz at home on Saturday, a win that secured them the championship following Barcelona’s loss to Girona.
Brahim Diaz initiated the scoring for Los Blancos with a goal in the 51st minute, followed by Bellingham’s goal, which expanded their lead 17 minutes later.
Joselu sealed the win with a third goal during stoppage time.
Post the Cadiz triumph, Ancelotti highlighted Bellingham’s decisive goal in the previous month’s 3-2 victory at home against Barca as crucial to their championship run.
“The league’s defining moment was Jude Bellingham’s goal against Barcelona,” the Madrid coach stated (as reported by Madrid Xtra).
Bellingham, the England international, also scored a last-minute winner in Real Madrid’s 2-1 victory at Barcelona in the earlier season matchup.
