In a heartwarming ceremony, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq celebrated the achievements of students from public and private schools in Kwara State who excelled in the recent Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The governor was thrilled to recognize the impressive results, particularly that of Master Samuel Olanrewaju Oluwasemilore from Government Secondary School, Omu Aran, who scored an outstanding 358.
However, further investigation revealed that Master Adeleke Abdulbasit from Federal Staff Secondary Schools, Adewole Ilorin, achieved an even higher score of 363, with a remarkable 95 in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and 78 in English.
The governor also extended his congratulations to the "great 30" students from Kwara-based Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model College, who scored between 355 and 300 marks, as well as other high-performing students from various schools in the state. According to the Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, "These achievements serve as inspiring examples for younger students to strive for excellence, work hard, and make their parents and community proud."
