The university's management has informed both new and returning students that they will be allowed to sit for the upcoming exams, regardless of fee payment status, aligning with Governor Sani's policy to ease students' economic difficulties.
Kaduna State University has allowed its students to proceed with their semester examinations despite outstanding school fees for the 2023/2024 academic year.
Following Governor Uba Sani's directive, which aims to alleviate the economic burden on students, the university made this announcement.
It is remembered that in 2023, under the administration of the former Governor Nasir El-rufai, there was a 100% increase in tuition fees.
This led to the withdrawal of many students who could not afford the new fees, while others struggled to make payments.
In response, Governor Uba Sani has since reduced the fees for state-run higher education institutions.
The university's management has informed both new and returning students that they will be allowed to sit for the upcoming exams, regardless of fee payment status, aligning with Governor Sani's policy to ease students' economic difficulties.
The university's Bursar's office remains available for queries about the interim clearance policy.
Students who wish to settle their fees can continue to use the existing payment methods.
