The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, initially announced the release of the 2024 UTME results on April 29. Out of the total candidates who sat for the examination (1,904,189), only 0.4% scored above 300, while 76% of candidates scored below 200
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released 531 additional results of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), bringing the total number of results released so far to 1,842,897. These additional results were part of the 64,000 withheld results that are currently undergoing screening for possible examination misconduct. The board has also identified 92 cases of misconduct beyond the initial 81 discovered.
In addition to the withheld results, JAMB is investigating cases related to unverified candidates and will soon provide a position on those matters.
