The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has effectively transported over 1,600 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
The most recent group, comprising 515 pilgrims, took off on Sunday with Max Air, the designated airline for Kaduna's pilgrims.
The agency's Public Relations Officer, Yunusa Muhammad, announced this in a press release.
He noted that this flight increased the total count of pilgrims flown from the state to 1,612.
Muhammad also mentioned that the pilgrims lined up for the fourth flight are presently in the screening process at the Hajj transit camp in Mando, Kaduna, and are scheduled to leave today.
