Governor Uzodimma |
Imo State's Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has designated sole administrators for all 27 local government areas within the state.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation, and Strategy, Declan Emelumba, to the press in Owerri on Tuesday.
The statement indicated that these administrators will serve for a period of 60 days, after which Governor Uzodimma intends to hold local government elections.
Emelumba affirmed the Governor's dedication to the integrity and openness of Imo State's electoral process.
The named sole administrators for the local government areas are as follows: Isiala Mbano, Hon. Okoroike Chika; Onuimo, Dr. Obi Emeka; Okigwe, Hon. Sir Acho Asiegbu; Obowo, Barr Obioma Ehirim; Ehime Mbano, Chief Uche Nwodu; Ihitte Uboma, Hon. Barr. Chukwuma Godson Onyema; Oru East, Hon. Okwaraigwe Nnamdi; Orsu, Hon. Ibekaeme Friday; Orlu, Barr. Isaiah Chinedu Ezeogu; Oguta, Dr. Abiaziem Chima.
Additional appointments include: Oru West, Engr. Ikenna Adikibe; Ohaji/Egbema, Hon. Chief Onyeaju Princewill; Nwangele, Chief Paul Duru; Isu, Chief Kenneth Ukah; Nkwerre, Hon. Odunze Ajaero JP; Njaba, Anaemem Obikaeze; Ideato South, Hon. Okechukwu Okwara; Ideato North, Ozigbo Michael; Ahiazu Mbaise, Larry Obinna Chikwe; Ezinihitte Mbaise, Nwachukwu Chinedum.
