According to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transport, Oloruntola Oluremi, the free train ride will last for four days, commencing on May 1st to May 4th.

- The train will also depart Aba daily at 3pm for Port Harcourt
- Full commercial operations will resume on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024
